Black Iris Holiday Giveaway!

It’s been a great year for Black Iris, and while we may still have some holiday spirits on the way, we wanted to give back to those who supported us and our projects this year. So, we cooked up this plan to giveaway a few gifts to our supporters.


Best Coast - When I’m With You (rad DIY video by khole71)

As you know, the most recent record we released through the label was by the amazing Best Coast, which we’ve gotten a great response. Some of you may have already downloaded When I’m With You from the label page and or purchased This Is Real through Lala, and we all are eternally grateful. What we wanted to give you the chance to do now is win a copy of the limited edition 7” and maybe some other fun stuff (Black Iris t-shirt perhaps?), which is not available anywhere else.

The rules here are pretty simple. If you visit the Best Coast page on Lala you will see along the right-hand side the Top Influencers. Obviously Pitchfork has been very kind in recommending that people check out the record. What we’re looking for you to do is get in on that action. Create an account at Lala.com and use the Shout, Share, and Embed tools on that page. Put the Lala player on your blog, Facebook page or tweet about it. As long as you’re logged in Lala will track who comes to the page thanks to you. On December 22nd at 11:59 PM EST we will determine who are the top Influencers amongst our friends. We’ll give out some prizes to the top spots.

So, all you’ve gotta do is

• Register with Lala.com
• Make a comment below with your Real Name, twitter name and Lala Name
• Go nuts in promoting the Best Coast Lala Page. If you tweet, try to mention us @BlackIrisMusic and @BestyCoastyy, but we know it’ll get kinda wordy. If you put it on Facebook, try to link to our facebook page and the Best Coast facebook page.
• Whenever someone visits the page and listens to the tracks, you’ll get a point. Watch the Top Influencers page to see who is getting points for referring people
• On December 22nd at 11:59 PM EST we’ll figure out which of the Top Influencers are playing along and get in touch to distribute the prizes.
